Alright alright alright. I don’t ship One Piece characters unless Oda makes it canon because honestly, in my mind anyways, I can’t ship them. It just feels wrong to me. Personal opinion. So know that I post this not because I ship Robin and Franky. I post this because it’s true. Franky and Robin have a special connection in my eyes. What they had to go through together during the Water 7 arc was tear jerking and I think Franky is the only one that can truly understand what Robin was going through at the time. He lost his family to the secret of the weapons and he was hunted down by the government because of that secret just like Robin. And this picture is just beautiful and I think it conveys that connection perfectly. Especially the caption just above. “You’re not alone anymore…” Franky has a big heart and I think he was an integral part to bringing the crew back together and especially helping Robin find her way back to her true nakama.

My problem is that, if Toei wanted to stay true to the manga, why did they make her tan in the anime in the first place and then suddenly realize, “Oh, shit, she’s supposed to pale”? It’s not even like they tried to be slick with the transition. They just up and decided to make her a billion shades whiter.
You know what, the claims that these animators are putting extra effort into making it look like the manga can kiss my ass because I don’t know if you’re even watching the same shitty anime as me, but these last few arcs were ugly as fuck. So please. Go ahead and act like talking about how the coloring issue is validated by canon doesn’t make you a “dumb cock” like the rest of us when the general lack of effort being put into the production of this show is as evident as the meatus gleaning from your head. Next time you jack off make sure to throw a hefty sock over your face.

Why did Robin in One Piece suddenly change ethnicity? It’s been bugging me for literally months ;__;
She’s got lighter skin in the manga and for some reason TOEI decided to give everyone the same skintone when the timeskip rolled around.
However they didn’t change Robin’s eyes to brown like they are in the manga. Confusing.
