Welcome to the blog of Dr. Professor. I'm a college student earning his bachelor's in Video Game Production. Yes that means I plan to WORK FOR VIDEO GAMES when I grow up. Here you will find a lot of One Piece posts. Mostly One Piece. Occasionally Doctor Who, Chrono Trigger, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Homestuck. Also Bastion. And Persona 4. You know what? This is just a general blog for whatever I feel like.

But really no there's gonna be a lot of One Piece here.

I work at www.gamersaloon.com and it would be super-great if you checked out that website

Daily reminder that Kanji isn’t gay, Naoto isn’t trans and Rise isn’t a slut.

Like, those are the three characters the Persona 4 fandom has the hardest time understanding, even though it is explicitly stated that Kanji’s problem was with acceptance, Naoto’s was trying to be taking seriously as an adult and Rise only showed attraction towards one person.

You can like/dislike whatever characters you like, but don’t like/dislike them based on a misinterpretation of them.

There are some things that never change, even in a different universe. Yosuke Hanamura’s friendship with Souji Seta is one of them. You could call it a constant, I guess. As sure as the speed of light.Souji himself left Inaba in March of 2012. Very rarely did he come back. Most of those times, it was for the sake of his young cousin and his only friend. The rest of the Investigation Team counted themselves as his ally, but Yosuke was always special. At 19, Souji was approached by the Shadow Operatives after their leader, the famed and feared Mitsuru Kirijo, took notice of his abilities after word of the shadow activity that once plagued Inaba spread in rumors and whispers. When he relocated to Tokyo, he brought Yosuke with him as a right hand man. Since then, he’s gained a reputation of his own within the organization as someone to be respected. Most other operatives keep their distance from the very quiet young man. There’s something in his eyes that no one can quite place.Yosuke himself often feels like he’s in over his head. He’s not like Souji or Kirijo-san or even that oaf Sanada. He’s just a kid from a backwater town who happens to be shockingly good at running his mouth and dealing with people who otherwise don’t want to be dealt with. When the Shadows lurk out from the corners of the seedier parts of town, Yosuke is the one who comes along with Souji (who prefers to work instead of talk). He knows the world is different these days. According to Sanada, the Shadows didn’t use to be this way, creeping in and out of existence. They had their own time. They had their own world. Yosuke knows this because he spent an awful lot of his second year of high school in it. Yet as the years go on, he hears more and more stories of strange disappearances, unexplained murders, and random suicides. He knows it’s them. They all do.So the question is… how did things get this way?

Our heroes. I guess?Adachi’s never had a heroic day in his life except for the one time he tried to confront Seta and got laughed right in the face. Fat lot of good his heroics did, what with the aforementioned five years in a concrete block being his reward. Shirogane is your more typical protagonist, all about Justice and the Truth and maybe punching Souji Seta in the teeth for making her look like a fool. All right, that’s not very heroic either, but at least she isn’t planning to tear out his eyes. (Yet.)Adachi’s 32 but looks somewhere around 38. He’s too skinny to be genuinely threatening, but he figures the sleepless jackass look suits him well. Naoto’s always telling him to eat a cheeseburger or something, but he’s lost his appetite for pretty much everything. Naoto herself has finally found the balance between androgyny and femininity that pleases her (she actually quite liked the long hair, but brushing it all out was far too troublesome if she got a call about a case at 2 AM). Anyone who takes issue with the heels she wears is typically shut up by her own vast intellectual superiority. She’s not sure if working with Adachi is the best decision she’s ever made. He’s not a murderer it’s true but he’s still short tempered, destructive, and manipulative. On the other hand, considering who they intend to bring in, maybe those qualities are exactly what they need.
Sorry for the sketchy quality, but this is about the level of “done” my schedule allows me these days. There will be a few more hashed out and finished pieces in all of this as well, but for now, I just wanted to lay out what our protagonists look like. If you’re interested in a better look at their clothes, I’ve actually got polyvore sets for both of them because I’m a complete loser. Adachi & Naoto. More to come. And remember, all of this is tagged under “P4 Revenge AU,” in the event you want to track or block all of this.
